Keanu is a perfect description of the terroir of our Los Carneros Estate Vineyard.
Keanu (kay-ah-new) means “cool breeze over the mountain”. These cool winds from the Pacific Ocean blow in over the Sonoma mountains, resulting in moderate temperatures and a long growing season. This allows the grapes to slowly develop their complexity of flavors.
Our Estate Grown Chardonnay and Red Blend are handcrafted in the distinguished Los Carneros AVA of Sonoma County.

We offer two unique wines...
Our Keanu Chardonnay is made in the French Burgundian style from grapes grown on our Estate Vineyard in the Los Carneros AVA, just South of the town of Sonoma. The taste profile of this wine is crisp and complex. Mouthfeel has a rich viscosity counterbalanced by a bracing acidity. Flavors are well balanced, with a mid-structure that delivers a long finish with loads of ripe pear and hints of banana.
Our Keanu Red Blend is crafted from our Estate Grown Merlot and Syrah and blended with a big Cabernet Sauvignon from the prestigious Atlas Peak AVA of Napa. The result is a wonderful, complicated wine that honors the traditions of Bordeaux with the influence and boldness of the Napa and Sonoma wine regions. The wine is medium body, very smooth and silky. Experience a blast of flavors with caramel, cranberries, blackberries and espresso. The finish is long, fresh, clean and juicy.
